I was hurry to catch up a flight to Jogja, after receiving a call to meet a person that I wanted to meet. A person whom I want to learn on his business strategy in running on bookstore. A business that our institution wanted to run in this year. He, whose name won't disclose in this blog, is running a number of successful bookstores in several cities and planning to broaden his business in Jakarta and Bandung in this year. His bookstores are now apparently competitor for two leading 'mainstream' bookstores in the country, at least in central and eastern Java, to my knowledge. It was a gambling to have a ticket from Jakarta to Jogja at the weekend which is a peak season. But, I was quite sure I could have it since many maatschappij is growing nowadays. In these recent days, we often hear the term of 'domestic violence' and 'marital rape'. We might have been familiar with the term of domestic violence, even we've seen it in our daily life at home. A husband to slap around or verbally abuse his wife, like that of appearing in a soap-opera TV. But what is 'marital rape'? It literally means rape in a marriage? Wow ... ain't it that means if we were getting married, a wife were legal to have sex with his husband, and vice versa? Let me take an example on the two Indonesian well-known actress who filed a lawsuit for divorce. According to the infotainment, it just because they suffer from sexual harrassement, to be precisely marital rape, in their domestic life. What was that?
